Swimming has been part of my life since I was a child. Coming from Europe, my parents were not strong swimmers. They thought it was important to learn how to swim so that I could be safe around water and also participate in school and social activities.

Learning how to swim, allowed me to participate in competitive swimming as well as triathlons. I now enjoy tackling oceans swims of various distances, as well as the swim leg in triathlons to keep fitness and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Knowing how important it is for children and adults to be able to swim and be safe around water, I became a ASCTA swim instructor. I am passionate about teaching children the swimming skills they need to be able to confidently move through water to the best of their ability, ensuring they have fun at the same time.

It is rewarding to see children, as well as adults, reach their swimming goals. These skills are learnt for life which can be to stay fit and healthy or to enjoy social activities around water.

Swimming is an important life skill, especially in Australia and I look forward to taking this journey with you.
