Pulse facilities have reopened and are operating in line with NSW Government Health Guidelines, and Fitness Australia guidance, to ensure a safe environment for the community.
To adhere to these guidelines and provide a clean, hygienic and safe facility, there is a few slight changes to how we are operating.
Below are answers to some of the questions you may have about your membership, the facilities and programs at Pulse. As always, you can always chat to our friendly staff if you have any other questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s happening with my membership?
Platinum (Owners) – Your membership is active as per normal.
Gold (Tenants) – Your membership was put on hold during the closure and you were not charged. Upon returning there may be a prorated amount covering the time from reactivation to your next fortnightly payment. If you have any account queries, please see the team at the desk.
Is the gym open?
The gym is open with our normal opening hours;
Mon – Fri: 6:00am – 9:00pm
Sat: 6:00am – 7:00pm
Sun: 7:00am – 7:00pm
What precautions are being taken?
The gym is operating within the NSW Government guidelines for social distancing. This means that the maximum number of people allowed at one time is 45. We do not envisage this affecting us much, except possibly in peak times (weekday evenings, Saturday mornings), so we encourage you to try and train outside of these times if possible.
Our staff are routinely disinfecting and sanitising all equipment throughout the day to ensure its cleanliness. Our cleaners are increasing their hours during the day, as well as continuing a deep clean overnight.
We are offering an opportunity for our over 60’s members to have exclusive access to the gym between the hours of:
Mon – Fri 10:00 – 11:00am
2:00 – 3:00pm
This is a great opportunity for our over 60’s members to get back to being active in a safe environment. We encourage you to come down, even if you have never used the gym before and our staff will be able to help you with getting active.
What do I need to do?
Hand sanitiser is available at all entrances to the facility, please use on your way in. Sanitizer spray and wipes are available throughout the gym, please wipe down all equipment after use.
Please bring a clean, bench sized towel with you for every workout. If you don’t have a towel, you will be unable to train.
The water fountain has been temporarily closed, so please bring your own water bottle with you. We also have water available for purchase.
Can I use the change rooms?
Yes, our change rooms are open. To adhere to social distancing measures, the changerooms are limited to 4 people maximum at one time.
Can I use the showers?
Yes. But we encourage you to shower at home if possible, to help with overcrowding in the changerooms.
Can I use the pool?
Yes. To ensure adequate social distancing, we are currently operating with a booking system. Simply book online as you would for a class/tennis court.
We are also working with a 1 person, per lane system to assist with this. So please make individual bookings if you wish to swim with another member.
We also ask you to please adhere to good hygiene whilst using the pool. We encourage showering at home before your arrival as to help with overcrowding of the changerooms.
Will swim school still be happening?
To be determined. We are currently in communication with swimming governing bodies regarding the challenges in facilitating swim school in the current environment. We hope to have more clarity soon and will update accordingly.

The outdoor pool is due to open in October as is our normal timetable. As this time approaches, we will have more information about this facility.
Are classes back up and running?
Yes, we are currently running classes with a slightly altered timetable. Check online to see what classes are currently running. You can book classes online as normal. Please note that numbers are limited to comply with social distancing requirements.
What has changed during the classes?
To minimise contact, the instructor will have a list of class participants, please check in with your instructor at the start of the class.
We encourage you to bring your own mat if possible. If you do use the supplied mats, please thoroughly clean them with sanitiser before and after use.
We have marked the studio floor with X’s to ensure social distancing, please remain within your designated space throughout the class.
I would like to use the tennis court, am I able?

When will the library open?
The library is currently closed due to health concerns, we will be reopening as soon as possible.
I would like to book the function room, is that possible?
