The cool guy at the reception (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights)
Knows what it’s like to be overweight… At my heaviest I weighed 91kgs and currently 72kgs (yep lost 19kgs)
After losing the weight decided to challenge myself, and thought it would be fun to run up and down stairs of different stadiums (through out Australia and New Zealand)
In 2017 I was selected to compete in New York City – running up the Empire State Building (86 flights – 1576 steps) – only 250 people worldwide are selected every year. So to be 1 of 250 people to be able to do it that year was awesome.Prior to getting into fitness – during my 20’s I was a DJ and DJ’d in numerous nightclubs in Sydney.
Outside of the gym (workwise) work in the education sector (been in there for over 20 yrs.)

PULSE STAFF, CLASS INSTRUCTOR
My goal in life is to have a positive impact in the world. This goes into all aspects of my life including my fitness career.
I first started training at a gym in my mid-teens but just like many others the motivation to be fit and healthy went in waves. It wasn’t until my late 20’s that the drive to have a healthy lifestyle kicked back into high gear.
With a PT that made exercising something to look forward to and group classes that were made to be fun and exciting my driven to do more was ignited.
I want to motivate and inspire people through fitness and help them feel strong and confident in their everyday life. I aim to bring passion, technique and fun to all my classes.
Exercise shouldn’t be a chore, it should be empowering to know you stepped up and did something great for your physical and mental health.
At any point of life, at any age you can always take a step in a healthy direction.

I started my health and wellness journey from an early age. Growing up, I was inspired by my mum who was a personal trainer at our at home gym. Here, she coached hundreds of people over her career and the impact she had on her clients left a lasting impression. Through viewing her as my role model, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years passionately striving for my fitness goals. Since then I knew it was an aspect of my life that was always going to be important. I enjoy all forms of exercise and I love mixing up my routine every once in a while.
I am currently studying a Bachelor in Primary Education and Arts, and my motivation and desire is to help and inspire young kids as a teacher. Working in a gym environment is truly inspiring because similar to teaching I get to see people working hard towards their goals, and most importantly see their joy when getting the results they want.

Previously from Singapore, my family migrate to Perth when I was in Year 9. I enjoyed playing netball, going for a swim, and hitting the golf course, mostly the driving range with my parents when we had the time.
I took up cycling to commute to work. This eventually turned into my hobby.I enjoyed it so much that on the weekend, I would go for longer rides as it helped me clear my mind and disconnected me from the busy work week.
When I moved to Sydney, I continued with cycling, but I couldn’t cycle for long distances due to the area I lived in, so I decided to get myself a gym membership, for the first time. Funnily enough, Asian parents being parents,I always remembered my mum saying, “You are so skinny, why would you need to go to the gym?”
4 years down the track I think it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve made. I started of doing a lot of classes and mainly followed the Les Mills programming, Spin and HIIT were my favourite, I eventually got a PT to show me the ropes and helped me with more foundational work. I’ve now moved on to CrossFit.
I still enjoy the environment and the people I meet from the different gyms I’ve been too. I am now studying my Cert III and IV in Fitness,to hopefully inspire and help others with their fitness journey.

My health and fitness journey began when I truly needed it, when I was battling autoimmune conditions, hormone health issues and illness.
Fitness is now an integral part of my life, and I am very passionate about helping people on their health and fitness journeys.
Part of my health journey included following career paths that best suited my health and wellness. In 2021, I left my career in the public service as a Business Manager and started working as an actor. Acting gives me the opportunity to embrace and nurture my creativity.
I also joined Di at Gym 707, where I had been strength training. I helped create a community where people strive for their goals together. This is where I realised, I want to be trainer and help people achieve goals they never thought they could.
And now I’ve followed Di here and I’m so grateful to be a part of this community. If you want to talk about strength training, building muscle, fat loss, or anything related to health and wellbeing, come have a chat with me 🙂

I discovered yoga while working in a demanding corporate role. I was burnt out, disillusioned and needed an outlet to bring balance to what was a chaotic time. My love for yoga started with Bikram Yoga. It wasn’t until I however transitioned to the vinyasa yoga style that my passion really came to light. I started taking yoga classes at a local studio and swiftly saw a positive change in my overall wellbeing. Within 6 months of regular practice I embarked on my yoga teacher training in 2018.
During my teacher training I fell pregnant with my first child and in my third trimester I completed my Pre and Post Natal yoga teacher training.
I have been teaching vinyasa and prenatal yoga now for 6 years and love being able to share what yoga has done for me physically, mentally and spiritually with others.

He was always a pretty solid player, but never took his game to the next level because his love for the game faded when he went of to university in 2019. Now he is able to workout how he wants, when he wants, and however long he wants. It brought the joy back for him to be in the gym and work on himself how he pleases.
